New helpful features are launched through the Tesla app, making for a more efficient and streamlined experience for drivers of electric vehicles.
In 2019, the company made “service [its] number one priority” and focused on making new features available without increasing costs. In July, the Tesla app was updated to include roadside assistance. While before, stranded drivers needed to call and explain the issue to a representative, now, they can just enter the issue — from flat tires and unresponsive vehicles to being locked out or low on charge, through the Tesla app. What’s more, the application also automatically determines your location and sends the information to the automaker who will be responsible for initiating the service.
