Kym Marsh health: ‘I’m writing from bed’ Coronation Street star ‘recovering’ from surgery

Kym Marsh, 43, who’s played Michelle Connor on ITV soap opera Coronation Street since 2006, revealed some details of her minor operation in her later column for OK! Magazine. She said she was visited in hospital by her daughter and grandson and is feeling much better now, but has been advised to rest and not do any exercise. She wrote: “This week I’m writing from my bed at home recovering from a minor operation. I was in and out in a day but Emilie still popped by the hospital with Teddy to cheer me up.

“It was lovely, he’s such a smiley boy.

“I’m still a little tired but already feeling much better now.”

The star also included details of her recovery process.

She added: David, Emilie and her boyfriend Mikey are looking after me and even Polly is doing her bit, asking: ‘Mummy can I get you something? Can I make you some toast?’ She’s so sweet.”

While Kym’s recovery appears to be going well, she has become frustrated at not being able to exercise.

She explained: “The doctors have told me to rest for a couple of days which is fine, but I’m also not allowed to do any exercise for three weeks. That’ll kill me!”
